There was gorgeous rainbow over the field last week. My photo doesn’t capture how incredible it was in the moment, of course, but maybe you can imagine the drama — rain ending, sun coming out, late evening quiet….

Our farm animal menagerie has continued to expand as some Muscovy ducklings (6-week-old siblings) moved in this week. They’re entertaining to watch as they move around outside — all three stick close together and appear cautious but also very interested in exploring. And they seem to have an affinity for the chickens (apparently they were born on a farm with chickens).
